101 Brierridge Drive Apex, NC 27502 [email protected] 919-607-6541 Barbara Vinal holds a Masters in Technology Education from Lesley University, a Bachelor’s in Music Education from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and holds a certificate in online instruction through the Carolina Online Teacher program (COLT) through LearnNC. She is employed by the Wake County Public School System in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Vinal is also a course developer and teaches online for LearnNC, a program of the UNC School of Education. She has been a music educator in Maine, New Hampshire, NC and Texas at both the Elementary and High School levels for 25 years. Mrs. Vinal was a member of the Maine Dept. of Education Learning Results Review Committee in 2007, which developed the current state standards in Visual and Performing Arts. The Maine Music Educators Association honored her as Music Educator of the Year in 2010. She has presented at Music and Arts conferences in multiple states and at the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Eastern Division Conference. She currently sits on the Executive Board of the North Carolina Music Educators Association as the Technology Chair. She provides workshops on technology integration in the Arts classroom, assessment in the Fine Arts and in developing standards-based curricula. |
Lindsay Pinchbeck

Lindsay Pinchbeck, director of Sweet Tree Arts L3C, has been teaching in the arts for 15 years. Previously she taught photography at the Riley School and the Maine Media Workshops. Pinchbeck gained her Masters in Education through Lesley University's Creative Arts and Learning program and received her undergraduate degree in Art and Music from Colby College. Creatively she works as a print maker and photographer. Lindsay believes art can be shared by all ages and all abilities on many levels. We create as active participants, engage as observers and share experiences together that enrich our lives and build empathy when we explore through the arts. |
